Recap and Resolutions 2011/2012

Keeping with tradition, here is my recap of 2011 and resolution for 2012.  For last year's post, click here.


Resolutions from last year:
Enjoy my kids and plan fun things to do with them!  Check!! But could do better.
- Spend more quality time with my husband.  Definite Check!
- Continue to Exercise, Eat Healthy  Half a check!  
- Attend church more regularly. Check!
- Run a 5k. Nope!  
- Pay off more debts.  Check!
- Go hunting.  Check!
- Spend more time with girlfriends!! (Come on girls!)  Check!
- Work hard to do a good job in my career.  Check..I try anyway!
- Get and train a new puppy!!!  Check!  Although he does need some more training.



2011 Recap:

- Braylen turned 1 and  Riley turned 3.
- Riley and Braylen started at a new sitter together this school year. It's been great!
- We sold our first house in June.
- We tried to buy my brother's house, but it fell through because my brother and I are related.  Stupidness, I tell you!
- We moved in with my parents in October and the kids are sharing a room.  So far, so good.
- We joined our church, had the kids dedicated, and Tony was baptized.
- We joined a small group at church, which we absolutely love!
- My job changed from being at one school to being at two schools...not loving the whole two school thing, but love my job.
- Tony gave up his rank as Sergeant and moved to Records so he could spend more time with his family. :-)
- We got a new dog!!  He is such a sweetie!
- We are mostly out of debt...just UVA student loans and our vehicles.  Woohoo!
- Monthly girls night!!!
- I killed my first deer.

2012 Resolutions:


- Continue to grow as a Christian.  #1!!
- Exercise and eat healthy.
- Buy a house (we are praying about this one and have some things in the works.)
- Bond with Victor.
- Be intentional in my parenting and learn to control my attitude when things get chaotic with my kids.
- Spend quality time with Tony.
- Spend quality time with Riley and Braylen.
- Continue working to be an effective reading specialist.
- Continue spending time with my girlfriends.
- Go hunting.  Try out a crossbow.
- Stay out of debt and make wise financial decisions.
