Braylen is 2!

Braylen turned 2 on February 11th.  I still have to write his annual birthday letter...soon..just thinking about it makes me get teary eyed!  We've been a little preoccupied lately with the move and the house and seems like a million other things. 

I always like to joke around this time every year that we have a 2 year old AND a 3 year old in the house for one month.  Riley turns 4 March 13th!

Here are a few pictures from his very small, very painless for mommy, very stress-free, very simple birthday party that we had this year.  With all the craziness we have had going on, my motto for birthdays this year is "small and simple."  It was us and both sets of grandparents and my grandmother.  Although we missed sharing in this special day with our wonderful friends and extended family, we were smack dab in the middle of our move and needed to keep things as simple as possible.

Please excuse the fact that my son desperately needed a haircut in this picture.  He got one later in the week!
