Fireplace and Cabin Updates

Our fireplace is coming along....very slowly, because we have been so busy and on top of that, it is hunting season around our parts!  Tony started in July and here is a picture of how far along we are (our ceiling is about 20 feet tall so he still has a long way to go):

The joke around here has been that my dad is going to finish building his HOUSE before we finish the fireplace. 


That is now an accurate statement....the cabin is almost finished!!  Just a few weeks to go.  It is gorgeous and my parents are very excited to move out of our basement soon. I need to get pictures of their master bathroom shower..it is AMAZING.  They have worked so hard....we honestly NEVER see them.  They come in through the basement garage late at night and stay downstairs just to sleep and shower.  It hasn't even felt like they have been living with us at all.
