Daddy's Tough Girl

The other night, Tony got home from work and went to take a shower. I was cooking dinner and Riley was playing in the tupperware drawer in our kitchen. Apparently, she's been playing with this particular drawer full of tupperware for awhile now and it's starting to get boring to her, so she decides she wants to get IN the drawer this time. As she's trying to get in, she loses her balance and hits her eye on the side of the drawer.

I, of course, act like a mommy and scoop her up and comfort her. She stops crying within a minute and I take her to show daddy for some daddy sympathy.

This is the difference between mommys and daddys - when your baby girl gets a black eye, this is what daddy has to say, "It looks good on ya!" and "The first of many!"
Seriously, people, he was cheering over our little girl's black eye! Daddy's tough girl....time will tell.
