Recipe Box - Creamy Fruit Tarts

I just wanted to add another yummy recipe to my blog recipe box.  It's nice when I need a recipe to just go to my blog and click on recipes.  Then I just sit with the computer in the kitchen while I cook.  We had these Tuesday night and they were delicious!  The tart tastes sort of like shortcake.  And the cream cheese mixture is awesome!

Creamy Fruit Tarts

Ingredients:

2 cup Bisquick
6 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. butter
16 oz. cream cheese, softened
another 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup sour cream
assorted fruit slices or berries

Directions:

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix baking mix, 6 tbsp. sugar, butter and 8oz of the cream cheese in small bowl until dough forms a ball. If it won't form into a ball, heat it all in the microwave for about 30 seconds and try mixing again.  Divide into 12 balls. Press each part of dough into muffin pan and press dough up the sides to form little cups.   Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until light brown. Use a spoon or something to press down the bottom of each well (the dough rises some in the middle while baking).  Remove cups from muffin pan, cool completely

Beat remaining  8 oz. of cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, and sour cream until smooth and spoon into tart shells, spreading over bottoms. Top each with about 1/4 cup fruit.

Yummy!!!
