Victor Update

So, despite the accident I talked about in my last post, Victor is doing great! He tells us for the most part when he has to go.

He loves dinner time and will stand at the food container and bark and jump as we scoop out the food. He loves to play with the kids and they love to play with him. He knows how to come, sit, and walk into his crate on command. His favorite thing to do is snuggle with us in the evenings...ahem, on the couch. We never let Maize on any furniture, but we made the mistake of letting Victor up one night and there was no turning back in his little puppy dog mind. We hope to break this habit though. Although, we aren't doing a very good job of it! LOL.

He is finally able to stay in his crate all day and all night without going outside. A very good thing since we get to sleep again.

He will obviously, in our eyes, never compare to Maize, who was the best dog in the world, but we are ok with that. He makes our kids happy and that makes us happy!
